IMMORTAL FOE

Pervading enemy you never know

Devious beast a ravenous devourer

Veiled behind the mask of a chaste.

Countenance of an angel

yet claws of a destroyer.

Countless trickery to allure you

Concocted bait to entice you in hell

Turning your imperfections with enormity

And caused you to fall

in an abyss of eternal pain.

Be  cautious enough lest fall

Hold high your guard and be determined

This foe's under your control

If you let him in then

you have just surrendered all.

In this life we only have two options

Life or death, depths or heights

Love or hate, lusts or bliss.

Assuredly to what we have chosen

but we yearn this determination not loosen.

Inside us is a constant struggle

We ourselves decide who'll win the battle

It's a matter of discipline and determination

This is a feat of faith and obedience
a manifestation of loyalty,love and affection.
